More Information on Woodlands MultiSport's Kona Race Day Watch Party

Woodlands MultiSport will be trying out something completely new on Ford Ironman World Championship Race Day.

It will host a Live Event that will be similar to the Race Day blog that Ironman produces, but will be completely focused on The Woodlands' John Laskowski and Amy Barr as well as competitors from Texas and the Southwest, as well as any other compelling stories, facts, figures and data that the Event's producers can come up with that is informative.

We hope that it is something that you will log into, keep open on your computer while you are "watching" the race unfold. If we're lucky enough, perhaps we might even get a text from the Island from some of our folks on the ground there!

To access the Live Event on Saturday morning, the link is as follows:

1.) The Live Event will launch on or about 10:30 a.m. CDT.  (After we get home from Ten For Texas Saturday morning.)
2.) You will need to login with your Facebook information to view the Live Event.
3.) There's nothing to do during a Live Event other than read, watch and occasionally send in a comment or vote in the polling questions.
4.) It's not a chatroom. You go to largely find out what the writer has to say. An open chat with thirty or more readers turns into poor, disjointed content very quickly.
5.) Your comments are published at the Writer's discretion. The Writer can view all comments sent to them but only they can publish your comments for everyone to see.
6.) Our 'autoscroll' feature ensures you're always shown the newest content without having to refresh or scroll your screen. You can turn this on or off by using the controls at the bottom of the Viewer Window.
7.) Subtle sound effects alert you to new content as the writer publishes it. This can also be turned on or off as needed.
8.) If you see a "Click for Live Updates" button, this means that the event owner has selected to turn off the event Title Page. Please click this button (once) in order to view the latest event updates.

There may be multiple producers and a few surprise panelists offering their input on the day's happenings.
